Kaštel Kambelovac Croatia
Located between city of Split and city of Trogir the town Kaštel Kambelovac is actually one of seven coastal villages built around 15th and 16th-century which all together makes town Kaštela. Kaštel Kambelovac is built by the aristocratic family Cambi from Split (1589). Noblemen and landowners from Split, brothers Jerolim and Nikola Cambi, built a castle on an islet to protect themselves and residents of village Lažan and Kruševik. Kaštel Kambelovac is noted for its long history, beautiful nature, pebble beaches and clear sea. The center of is an old town with beautiful stone houses.
